PWWA and SWA Sign Landmark MOU to Advance Coastal Protection and Regional Water Collaboration
A significant milestone for regional collaboration was achieved at the 2nd Southeast Asia Symposium on Coastal Protection during SIWW2026, where the Singapore Water Association (SWA) and the Philippine Water Works Association, Inc. (PWWA) formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
This partnership establishes a framework for deeper collaboration in water sector innovation, business development, knowledge sharing, and professional exchange between Singapore and the Philippines. It also marks the launch of a dedicated Coastal Protection Chapter within PWWA, providing a platform to accelerate coastal resilience initiatives and strengthen climate adaptation capabilities.
